Like many Northeastern cities, Utica New York was once a prosperous area with many manufacturing businesses. However the last sixty years these businesses have been driven out and jobs sent overseas. What was once the most affluent street in the city now has become blight. Local people have tried to save these local mansions and as of today a few remain standing in Utica.

The Ghost Seekers of Central New York had the opportunity to investigate two of these mansions and on October 16, 2010 will give a tour of the properties and reveal what they may have captured with their equipment.

The mansions are located on Rutger Street in the city of Utica.

The following is a report from local Utica media.
